Gameplay & Mechanics

Objective:Sink all 5 enemy ships before the AI destroys your fleet.

Fleet Placement: 5 ships of sizes 2–5. Drag and rotate before battle starts.
Turn-Based Strikes: Alternate firing on the enemy grid one shot per turn.
Sonar Ping: Once per game, reveal a 3×3 area of the enemy grid (shows hit/miss but not exact positions).
AI Targeting: AI hunts intelligently — once it hits, it focuses surrounding cells.
Carrier Ability: The largest ship (size 5) grants 2 shots in one turn, once per game.
pcClick to fire on the enemy grid. Drag ships to position your fleet.
mobileTap to fire. Drag and rotate ships to position your fleet.

Scoring & Difficulty

Scoring Formula
Standard Score Calculation
Score based on shots fired. Fewer shots = higher score. Sinking all ships without using sonar = bonus 500 pts.
Difficulty Progression

Easy: AI fires randomly. Medium: AI hunts efficiently after a hit. Hard: AI uses probabilistic targeting across the whole grid.

No — there must be at least one empty cell between ships.

#Spread your ships — clusters are easier for the AI to find.
